A Part of the Fabric

We searched long and hard for saddles and tape that offered the function and form to match our bikes. As soon as I saw the UK designed, understated, high-tech functionality of the Fabric components the decision was made.

I've always admired the work of Nick Larsen and his UK design team with Charge Bikes and the Surface clothing range, so when I heard they were developing a new components range I was pretty sure it was going to be be good!

The Fabric International launch was in Taichung and Tokyo at the time of the Taipei International Bike Show and I was very honoured when they asked if they could use a Mason bike to show the new Fabric Grip tape, Scoop saddle and new bottle concept.

It was also a really nice to hook up with Alex Rankin and film a small section for the Fabric launch video to be run at all the international launch events. Shaun Palmer from Intense amongst others is starring in that particular film, Yikes!

The Fabric products are such a perfect match to our brand and design ethos. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they come up with and using more of the range on our bikes as we grow and introduce new models.
