The World's Fastest Adventure Hardtail
MASON supported riders have been very busy in 2026, and this year in particular seems to be the year of the Macro!
Their races, rides, and journeys across the world have inspired and entertained our community. Across the board, they have chosen the Macro as the tool for the job. Here are some highlights from this year:
- Aug-Sep: Becky Surridge and partner Jake embark on fully loaded Macros for a 'slowpacking' adventure on the Great Divide MTB route. Updates on Becky's Instagram.
- August: Ella Brown takes a dominant women's win at GB Duro, easing onto the overall podium. Her race report here.
- July: Angus Young's determined ride sees him come in third at the Tour Divide - the fastest ever time on a metal bike! His race recap here.

- May: Claire Frecknall finishes the inaugural Aethelred Ultra 300 as first woman and third overall.

The MASON Macro combines the capability to carry bikepacking gear across variable off-road terrain with the imperative to keep moving at racing speed. Build a lightweight, flat bar, fully rigid bikepacking machine or combine the Macro with a suspension fork to enhance comfort, control and momentum on extended, fast, multi-terrain adventures with more challenging trail conditions.
The Macro is highly configurable, conceived around bikepacking loads, accessory attachment and fluid-carrying capacity from the outset. It is much more than simply a flat-bar gravel bike – designed for customisation, allowing the rider to fine tune a configuration that matches their requirements and planned adventures.
