Aperture2

We are 'Mason Progressive Cycles’ so we have developed the V2 version of our award winning Aperture fork. The V2 Aperture is completely new tooling and features Ø12mm Thru-axle, flat-mount, a little more tyre clearance as bigger tyres are becoming very popular, sealed internal routing, and of course all the mudguard mounts and fittings of the V1. The fork also features our unique Mason 'F-Stop' axle system, with Mason developed axle and replaceable fork inserts.

The Aperture2 is the evolution of our original and unique Mason Aperture fork, it has the same styling and ride quality but is now thru-axle and has a little more clearance so you can fit up to a 33mm tyre. The axle is also a MASON product with unique 'F-Stop' system so that you can accurately adjust the QR lever exactly in your desired position. The 'F-Stop' system uses replaceable inserts that can be swapped out if the threads are stripped or worn.

We've designed the Aperture2 for the latest flat-mount standard in road bike disc braking systems, and the revised internal hose routing makes the hose almost entirely invisible.

The whole package is pretty advanced.

The 'Aperture2' will replace the Aperture across our entire range of Resolution & Definition products.

A lot of time has gone into the development of our 'Aperture2' fork, and sadly the bad news is that there will be a small increase in the Definition prices, but the GOOD news is that any orders placed by the 5th of September will receive the new fork at the current pricing!
