Join MASON Cycles for #CoffeeOutside Day 2024: Saturday 12 October

You’ve probably noticed how people who appreciate good bikes also appreciate good coffee. We certainly have. It’s no surprise to us that people who have a Bokeh or an Exposure in the shed also have a good liberica or arabica in the kitchen cupboard.

This Saturday 12 October is International #CoffeeOutside Day. An idea brewed up by the folks at Ride with GPS, there’s a simple goal: wherever you are in the world, meet with friends, ride your bike, then stop somewhere to enjoy a coffee in the open air. This sounds good to us, so we’ve signed up to stage what’s currently the only UK hosted meet-up for #CoffeeOutside Day 2024.

Read on for more details, or RSVP on the Ride with GPS site.

We’ll meet at The MASON Barn, we’ll take a short morning spin on gravel and quiet lanes, then we’ll pause at Bramber Castle to brew up. Whether your outdoor barista technique involves a pourover, an Aeropress, or a simple ‘cowboy coffee’, we’ll compare, share and enjoy.

There'll be prizes – courtesy of Ride with GPS – for the most impressive outdoor brewing efforts.

This won’t be a led or guided ride, just a chance to enjoy a morning coffee outside with friends.

It's a simple plan:

Meet: 9:00am, MASON Barn, Applesham Farm, Saturday 12 October 2024
Ride: from 9:15am
Alternative meet point en route: Shoreham Old Tollbridge, 9:30am
Return: approx. 11:30am
Bring your own bike, or email us if you’d like to book a bike from the MASON demo fleet. Bring coffee, your favourite brewing equipment, and a snack if you like.

Coming along? Great. Take a moment to RSVP via the Ride with GPS site.
