Laws of Attraction.
We choose to work with: brands that we believe in; those that we share ideals with; and individuals that we look up to. This ethic invariably drives both people and product to new strengths.
Their unique powers and characters rub off on each other, helping to diversify and colour both parties and result in happier, healthier relationships.
As can be seen from our award-winning wheel sets and bikes, A big part of the MASON Cycles success lies in cohesive relationships with those we believe in.
The eyes of MASON are firmly focused outside of the bike industry, fixating on the incentive and emotion of those who regularly live ahead of the curve, pushing boundaries in creativity, design, and adventure.
Board-riders; Musicians; Explorers; Outcasts; Renegades.
And as so many of our links have occurred, the laws of attraction recently brought us together with Matthew Clarke, a representative of the historical yet progressive British technical garment designer, Rab.
Matt was in need of a winter/summer explorer. Of course, a winter/summer explorer is a wide, demanding specification for a bike. A more concise criteria could look like this:
Adaptable | Capable | Versatile
After a typically thorough search of the market by the discerning outdoor technologist, Matt’s decision landed on the SE4SON Definition.
Matt had a specific, unique build in mind and built his Definition frameset up into the fast, 4 season explorer to cover the UK and further afield. Matt is an experienced cyclist with competition in his blood. These days his rides start in the beautiful Peak District.
We’re honoured to be picked up on by those we share ideas and values with. Ridiculous attention to detail, progressive design processes, and a strong soloist spirit.
'I finally got the Definition finished this weekend and can happily say that it was well worth the wait....Everything about it felt right and it didn’t have any quirks to the handling at all. In fact it just flew everywhere!'Downhill it was confidence inspiring and uphill there wasn’t any flex to be felt...So far then all round total "grail bike"!''Anyway cheers again for designing the bike I have been after for some time but nobody made until now!'
