Fiets Magazine were the first in the world to run a grouptest featuring our new Mason InSearchOf (ISO) and it was up against some hard hitters - Ventus GRD, J.Guillem Atalaya, Bombtrack TheHook ADV.

It's always a nerve wracking experience sending one of our new creations out to be pitched against great bikes from other brands, so it's a fantastic feeling when it comes out on top!

Fiets took the 4 bikes out to the beautiful and challenging trails of Finale in Tuscany, Italy.

This was their first feedback "Testing works out great. We did a big loop yesterday on de ISO here in Finale. Including some real rocky mtb decents. The ISO is made for much more than 'normal' gravel and fast stretches of strade bianche looking roads. It's an adventurebike made to do whatever you want. Fun mtb sections, long bikepack days and gravel rides with a bit more bite. I love it."

"We are on the road with one of the most progressive gravelbikes on the market ...
Everything must be possible with the ISO. Adventure and unlimited possibilities are paramount at Mason".

"As soon as you take a bike like this out of the barn, you have a holiday feeling. And that is quite a fine fact. Because say it yourself, when you go cycling you want it to be stress free and with a feeling of freedom.

How happy we were that the Mason InSearchOf came our way. And how beautiful it was to take this colossus through nature. The ISO is a difficult bike to attach a conclusion to. It is almost a bike in its own category.

It does not have many competitors… The ISO is a bike where you can do everything and one thing very well - long adventures where you want to have many different possibilities".

"When you are looking for a reliable bike with little margin of error to connect all mountain bike routes… to one long multi-day winding paradise.
The ISO is not a gravel bike to stroll along during joint rides or Strava sessions. With the ISO you go on an adventure. It takes everything that's in your path…"

There is a full Fiets individual test on the InSearchOf HERE You'll need to hit 'translate' though.

We'll post the full grouptest pdf in our 'Reviews' section soon, or track down a copy of Fiets Magazine!
