LAST RIDE?
I spent a few weeks living in the foothills of the #SierraNevada earlier this month where there's loads of great riding.
Not technically my last ride - but my favourite was a loop around the Sierra Nevada over New Years with a frosty bivvy at what we later found out was the highest village in Europe!
Plenty of climbing as you'd imagine, but the real killer was the self Lee Craigie enforced rule to stop at every outdoor gym (of which there are many) to pump iron - much to the amusement of the locals.

WHICH BIKE?
Mason Bokeh Rival 1X

700C Hunt Bike Wheels Gravel Disc , 30mm G1 Schwalbe tires, for gear ratio enthusiasts - 1 x 10-42 with a 36T chain ring on the front which I've happily kept on since Kyrgyzstan! (+sleeping kit/bags/stove etc!)

SETUP & KIT LIST?
Hot water bottle, whiskey, half a kilo of dulce de leche.

WHAT'S NEXT?
I've just moved to a yurt in the Cotswolds, so Iots of rolling up and down the hills that I'm surrounded by. I also hope to have a go at crit racing, which'll be my first under 1700km! I've signed up to a few bigger races later in the year too, starting with the Italy Divide in April!
