Each rider of a MASON Aspect has spent their time in the saddle. They've put in the miles and the years. They've formed their tastes, their opinions, their likes and their dislikes. They have come a long way. They have many stories to tell. Such stories.

So when we begin each Aspect, we start by listening to these stories – those experiences that make one rider's cycling life so brilliantly different to the next. For each man or woman, there is a different volume of stories to tell. Each is their own. Each is truly unique.

Every Aspect is the result of hundreds of these stories. It's like we take each rider's experiences, each rider's cycling psyche – formed over decades – and we find the best way to express it through Dom Mason's vision of a true titanium endurance bicycle. With our Italian makers and our Sussex workshop team, we create a bicycle that holds all of these stories together in one beautiful, unique object: a bicycle that reflects what each rider has learned through their decades in the saddle – and a bicycle that is truly ready to take them through the decades to come.

The choices that face each new Aspect rider are numerous.

They begin with the fact that there are, in fact two Aspects. The sporty Aspect Integrale integrates cables and hoses within its sleek lines, while the Aspect2 maintains the original Aspect approach of semi-internal cabling, mechanical compatibility and days-long comfort.

Next comes the wealth of customisable details that tailor each handbuilt Aspect for its owner. Every careful choice of bottle eyelet, mudguard mount and equipment position reflects the individuality of its rider. Cables and hoses present myriad options for each frame, whether electronic or wireless, left or right-handed braking. Headtube lengths are fine-tuned to create a perfect fit.

And when an Aspect frameset arrives in Sussex from Italy, the third critical stage of personalisation kicks in, with an array of components drawn from the world's finest manufacturers and wheelsmiths – from the latest big name technology to the quirkiest of artisan exotica.
