We are thrilled to announce that the Wild South Downs Way event, in collaboration with our friends at Wild Cycles, is back for 2024!

We will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Mason Cycles with a special two-day gravel festival at the Mason Barn. Join us for a weekend of festival vibes with Wild Cycles, the amazing team at Mason Cycles, and the Neighbourhood Gravel gang.

Over the course of two days, we will ride on some of the most beautiful and spectacular gravel routes in the country. You can camp at the MASON Barn, which is located on the picturesque Applesham Farm in a stunning location with views across the Downs and down to the glistening English channel.

This year, the format is slightly different, with the emphasis on our incredible location here at the MASON. We are fortunate to be situated near the best and most beautiful trails on the South Downs Way, and this weekend is as much a celebration of the trails that have shaped our lives over the last 10 years as it is a celebration of the last 10 years of doing things at MASON. We can't wait to ride in the spectacular scenery surrounding us, which will make for a wild and unforgettable weekend experience.

"We are thrilled to announce the launch of the MASON Wild South Downs Way 2024 | 10-Year Anniversary Edition. After the success of last year's event, we decided to run it again, and with our 10-year anniversary approaching, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to celebrate everything at once.

The 2024 event will be slightly different as we want to celebrate the local landscape that has been our home for the last 10 years of MASON Cycles. The South Downs are an integral part of our lives, and within those hills, there are magical trails and paths that we have yet to explore.

Instead of covering the entire South Downs Way from Winchester to Eastbourne, as we did in the 2023 event, the 2024 edition will focus more on the hidden gems within our reach. Riders will be taken on loops from the barn all over the downs near Worthing, Brighton, and Seaford, with a pitstop at the famous Beak Brewery in Lewes. We also want to celebrate local shops and businesses that we have had the privilege of sharing the last 10 years with, so expect to see some classic local spots along the way"

- Dom Mason

We can't wait to welcome riders to the barn this coming Spring! See you soon.
