Aperture2.2 Is Here
Our Aperture2 fork has been at the helm of our Resolution, Definition and Aspect multi-surface road bicycle designs for an incredible 4 years. It came fully fitted with class-leading features for a contemporary road bicycle fork, all of which are still perfectly suited to bicycles of this type:
Ø12mm Thru-axle, flat-mount, tyre clearance for 700C x 35mm tyres, sealed internal brake hose routing, 3D-printed mudguard mounts, with Mason developed 'SwitchLever' axle and replaceable 12mm or 15mm 'F-Stop' fork inserts.
Over the last 4 years we quietly added and refined some of Aperture2's features to improve it in response to the demands of fast-touring and 'new-road' riding.
We've seen a steady increase in the demand for factory-fitted dynamo lighting and charging systems on our bikes, always popular on our Bokeh model and ever more so on our Resolution, Definition and Aspect models.
So, the big update here is a fully sealed, internally routed dynamo cable port, feeding the cable smoothly to the crown mounted light, fully integrating the dynamo lighting set-up on your Mason.
The rear light cable can also be routed internally through the frame tubing.
The Mason Aperture fork is available exclusively on Mason Cycles bikes and is designed by us to work perfectly with our Resolution, Definition and Aspect models.
We'll be fitting this fork as standard on all applicable models and there's no price change.
