Grinduro?

Part gravel grinder (urgh) part Enduro (yeah!) Grinduro links up timed sections of riding with scenic sociable cruising. It's a relatively short ride  - <80km - so the competition is fierce, however the post-ride festival events are ample occassion for cammeraderie and celebrating the current state of AdventureSport.

This year Grinduro has come to the UK, co-organised by Focal Events [of 'Dirty Reiver'] who've chosen the Scottish Isle of Arran to host this gruelling ride.

Poised to be a rainy and cold Saturday, riders may be grateful when the 80km course burns legs with 1.3km of climbing and torches rubber tyres with flat-out timed sections that point downhill.

This sort of riding or racing - multi-terrain and distance-covering - is Bokeh territory. Class-leading bicycle tech journos Bikerumor reached out to MASON to provide them with the best tool for taking on the gnarly, technical Grinduro course so we've sent them a stock 56cm Bokeh Force 1X build with 650B rolling stock.

Aside from the riding, Grinduro is featuring unique builds from top UK framebuilders, local and bicycle related Art, live local music at night, brazing classes from our friends The Bicycle Academy, and a bar stocked with local brews.

We're really proud to have been selected alongside some of the top UK custom builders as a 'featured builder' for Grinduro, which means we'll be displaying a very special bike within the exhibition hall. This bicycle is not only our expression of the ultimate bike for Grinduro, but for any multi-terrain and 'FastFar' rides.
