Introducing: Jason Black
FastFar | Introducing Jason Black
We are very pleased to introduce Jason Black as our latest #MasonCycles supported rider.
Jason really embodies our #FastFar ethos, he has already achieved some incredible results in ultra-distance and adventure riding, racing the world BikingMan series over the past several years, across Oman, Corsica, Peru, Laos and Portugal and the The Transatlanticway 2500k finishing 3rd. Jason is currently second overall in the BikingMan World unsupported Series.
He is also a true adventurer having been successful on the world's seven highest summits - climbing Everest solo via the North face, last year surviving K2 being only one in 360 ever to summit and survive this savage mountain, Denali via the Western Rib, and Aconcagua, the highest mountain outside Asia, at 6,960.8 metres (22,837 ft), and the highest point in the Southern Hemisphere located in the Andes mountain range, Argentina.
A fearsome and fearless athlete. no doubt. But to those who already know of Jason there's something that surpasses even these achievements: Jason's selfless generosity and dedication to changing lives for the better.
...best of all I’m the global ambassador for the Irish Red Cross, changing lives is a critical message of mine and I’m proud to be the carrier of that beacon light.
Jason is a global ambassador for the Irish Red Cross
Jason's ultra-cycling, mountaineering and fund-raising experience is nothing short of awe-inspiring and we're super excited to have this opportunity to spend more time with Jason, learning from and adventuring with him.
At this very moment he is riding the incredibly tough NorthCape4000 covering 10 countries, with over 4300km self supported riding, finishing at the Arctic Circle! Jason is sitting comfortably in 14th.
