MASON Cycles: Junior Cycle Technician - Full Time.

Location: Lancing, West Sussex

Here are some of your tasks:

- Assisting our head Technician

- Inspection and preparation of frames before build/despatch

- Assembling build kits ready for bike builds

- Ensuring bikes are built to customer specification and Mason standards.

- Keeping the workshop tidy

- Assisting with checking new stock and assigning to the storeroom

ALSO:

- Answering customer enquiries via phone and email

- Helping with customer visits and demo rides

- Handing over new bicycles to customers

- Maintaining the MASON demo bike fleet to a high standard

What we expect you to bring:
- 1+ years of bike mechanic experience, qualified to Cytech Level 1 or 2 (or equivalent)
- Enthusiasm, positivity, great communication and willingness multi-task, working as part of a small team with the best customer service as our #1 priority
- A passion for the outdoors, riding and adventure. With an excellent understanding of bicycles, their components and the riding world
- The ability to take on a variety of tasks, in-keeping with a small business
- An understanding of the current market
- Strong attention to detail and a high quality of finishing in everything you do
- Good understanding of online systems with IT skill set.

Your salary and package:

Salary: £21,000 – £25,000 depending on qualifications and experience

Working Days/Hours: Full Time.  39.5 hours/5-days per week 
Mon-Thurs 9am-5.30pm. Fri 9am-5pm

You will also be expected to attend demo rides or MASON events when required at weeknds.

Holiday: 20 days annual leave (rising to 22 days after 5 years service and to 25 days after 10 years service) + Bank Holidays

Contract: Permanent

Pension: Inclusion into our qualifying pension scheme 

Training: Cytech level 3 - if needed

You must be eligible to work in the UK.

At the base of the South Downs National park, working from a listed 350 years old flint barn, based in a sustainable mixed farm in West Sussex, UK.
