Last week our friends RoadCyclingUK paid us a visit at The Barn to take them through the key updates that make our refined and perfected Resolution2 so special.
After visiting us, RoadCyclingUK rode away on our evolved Resolution2 eTap bicycle for the exclusive First Ride review, riding it in its natural habit: the steep, fast descents and snaking lanes of the South Downs.
When offered the chance to ride the Resolution2 for a week, I quickly readied my suavest kit and set about planning some quiet routes that would allow me to enjoy the finer things in life, just as one does once they've purchased a custom steel bike, or so I imagine.

The Resolution2 is everything that's good about steel with modern technology built in.
It's beautifully built, it's comfortable, and thanks to its nature is an easy companion to live with for a wide range of riding. With the build kit featuring large volume, tubeless road tyres capable of a little adventure and an intuitive electronic gearing setup, it feels like steel bike 2.0; a rethinking of exactly where steel fits in the contemporary bike market.
Now fitted with Thru-Axles & Flat-mount brakes, thanks to the Mason X Bear dropout system, and a few other rider-drive refinements, the Resolution has now become the #FastFar machine it was destined to be.
