WHERE: Starting in Winchester and finishing in Eastbourne with a night's stopover under the stars at the MASON Barn.

What will no doubt be an epic adventure, this self-guided off-road ride starts in Winchester on Saturday 20th May, taking you through the spectacular views and trails of the South Downs National Park.
Before we share more about the event, we caught up with Jon Heard from Wild Cycles to find out how the collab plan was hatched…
“We're super excited to be launching an event with MASON, on their home turf - The epic and beautiful South Downs Way! Our mission at Wild Cycles is to create truly memorable and unique experiences, and to achieve this - we love to collaborate with like-minded brands. MASON is obviously passionate about small-scale, well-designed quality products/ experiences and so are we - it's a perfect alliance.
Half of the Wild Cycles team had been based in Brighton for the last 5 years and found out about the elusive MASON Barn through friends at local gravel club Neighbourhood Gravel. The idea for the MASON SDW slowly developed and we approached Dom with the idea, utilising the Barn as a halfway stop with festivities seemed like such an awesome opportunity that we couldn't resist.
After meeting the Farmer who looks after the fields surrounding Dom's design barn, we hatched a plan to host an evening of fireside chats, delicious local food, and camping. Riders will be able to rest up at the barns after a tough day out on the downs, before tackling the last part of the route on Sunday. We'll then be finishing at Cadence cafe for some post-ride brews by Stohk.

Whilst on your 2-day ride, you'll cover the whole 170 km of the South Downs National Trail carrying only the essentials, and finishing your first day of riding at the MASON Barn where we’ll be ready to welcome you.
During your overnight stay with us, your pitch will have stunning views, loos, running water, and power for recharging devices. We’ll also be serving delicious home-cooked, locally sourced food and produce with fireside vibes, and beer ready for an evening of relaxation and recounting the day’s highlights.
We’ll then refuel you with a breakfast of delicious locally sourced granola, pastries, fruit, fresh coffee, and tea before you head on your way, on an equally spectacular ride, finishing up and celebrating at Cadence Café in Eastbourne.
