INTRODUCING OUR NEW CLOTHING RANGE 2023

For 2023, we have completely revised our MASON Cycles clothing range. The garments have been carefully considered and chosen to compliment each other in terms of colour, weight, and style.  The quality reflects our bicycle range and we have focused on the sustainability and social responsibility of the garments and companies that supply them. They are designed to look good and perform well; we want you to use them hard and keep them for a long time.

We have ensured all garments are high quality, providing a product that we expect to last for many years and become your go-to clothing. We have tried to use Earth Positive, recycled, and naturally derived fabrics where possible and have chosen muted colours for most garments to reduce dye content.

Just like our bicycles, the focus is on craftsmanship and durability, and the finished product shows off the attention to detail at every stage, but it does help that they look good! This clothing is certainly designed for off-the-bike excursions too.

Our clothing is not delivered in single-use, individual plastic bags and we do not send it out in plastic.

We have chosen AScolour as the supplier of our high-quality pocket-T’s, because of their outstanding and transparent Social Responsibility and sourcing. They were also ranked third highest in the Ethical Fashion Report 2022 among 581 other brands that were assessed. You can read the full 2022 Ethical Fashion Guide & Report here.

Where we have used another supplier, we have chosen the products for their longer-lasting higher quality, and better environmental credentials. Such as viscose, derived from naturally sustainable bamboo cellulose. Our ‘SUSTAIN’ eggplant T uses 70% Bamboo Viscose and 30% Organic Cotton.

20% of the income from every SUSTAIN clothing purchase will go to our chosen local environmental and riding charities at the end of every year.

We have chosen T's from the Continental 'Earth Positive' collection, for its organic, ethical, and climate-neutral status. You can read more here

Continental is also very transparent regarding its sustainable manufacturing and social responsibility, and you can read more about them here

The MASON 'Icon' sweatshirts are chosen for high quality, durability, and comfort. Once again, they are built to last and we expect you to wear them a lot! They are heavy duty and do use 20% polyester for insulation, but it is 20% Recycled post-consumer polyester and the Icon sweatshirts are 80% Organic Cotton.

OUR GARMENT STYLES

Working with artist Denis Carrier, from Grenoble in France, we have created these 2 new designs for the large back prints on our new T-shirts.

The 'Sustain' design shows the iconic MASON 'Crown' logo as a growing thing. It represents the growth of our small bicycle company, since 2014 and also shows the leaves growing, falling, and sustaining the brand. This new hand-drawn design helps to represent the sustainable way in which we try to run things here at MASON, always aware of our place in nature. The design also represents using our growth to give something back, supporting our community, and trying to encourage positive change where we can.

The 'Made For Miles' design is also drawn by Denis and shows the MASON icon as a compass, representing the ability to travel that our bicycles provide and also that they are an investment, made to last for many many miles of adventure. The 'S' in MASON shows South, for our position near Brighton on the South Coast of the UK.
