Series - R8000

We are Mason 'Progressive' Cycles. The class-leading bicycles that we supply will always be at the cutting-edge of bicycle design and feature a clever choice of the latest components.

Shimano's Ultegra groupset is a proven road drivetrain solution and it has been our most popular model for the last couple of years. Its undersated, angular design complements the modern features of our frame designs while its combination of durability and performance cements Ultegra's position as the go-to road groupset for mile-eating machines.

The newest edition of Ultegra - R8000 - has been released and it's updated in both appearance and function. We're stoked on this new series and we think it's right to build our bikes with as much of it as possible.

Historically, Shimano has not made entire series components available at the same time i.e. mechs come before levers. So, for now, disc brake specific parts are not available in the UK.

However, we think that it's important to use the newest, best drivetrain components on our bikes as they offer a genuine performance upgrade. So all Ultegra bikes will be built with:

• R8000 Front + Rear Mechs
• R8000 Chainsets
• R8000 Cassette

There will be a revision on our pricing when full groupsets are available. Until then, we will be upgrading to R8000 series Ultegra at our exisiting prices.
